FHA Down Payment Requirements Increasing

Starting January 1, 2009 - FHA WILL REQUIRE a minimum 3.5% DOWN PAYMENT. If you qualify for an FHA mortgage, but cash availability is an issue for you, now is the time to seriously consider buying while the down payment minimum requirement is still 2.25%.
